Handling conflicts spiritually
Following article builds good context.
“Focus on what ignites your soul, and watch as the universe conspires to make it a reality.”
As mentioned in the referred article, when I recall the true self, the whole universe becomes accessible (as the self pervades all), just like the body is readily accessible to you. I often give a shape to that formless, incomprehensible (by mind) self to enjoy the companionship and lovingly call it as Krishna. While I focus on expressing myself physically from the level of mind/body, Krishna (higher self, portion of me beyond the body) handles many tasks behind the scenes. I am unaware of the behind-the-scenes work done by Krishna that empowers me to do what I truly enjoy. This is the reason I say the following often - “By concentrating on something that interests you or feels appropriate, those related events will appear, naturally pushing away the rest, including your problems, with minimal effort from you”.
“In the face of conflict, surrender to the power of the universe and let the unfolding moments guide you towards resolution.”
I will provide one scenario, using myself as the subject for simplicity’s sake.
There was a time when I found myself in a conflict with someone else. This person possessed an exceptional level of intelligence and had the ability to articulate his thoughts so persuasively that he could convince anyone. Moreover, he possessed both physical strength and a vast social network, which allows him to manipulate surroundings to align with his own beliefs. In essence, this person had an air of confidence, or perhaps even arrogance, that led him to believe he could effortlessly manipulate circumstances, oblivious to the intricate workings of the universe behind the scenes.
With the awareness of the Self, I am surrendered and open to the unfolding moments that the universe presents before me. Instead of dwelling on conflicts, my focus is solely on the present moment, striving to respond to each moment in the best possible way, giving my utmost respect and attention to each moment. Behind the scenes, the immense power of the universe is at work, bringing forth what is necessary for me to act comfortably on the chosen work, while pushing away all that is unnecessary. In this process, conflicts are resolved effortlessly like a wave erasing pictures drawn on the shore through relevant events orchestrated by the universe, involving a relevant audience. I may not even be consciously aware of those events that led to resolve the conflicts, as the universe does not involve me much as my attention is not on the conflict. Occasionally, certain thoughts may arise in my mind, prompting me to take action if necessary to resolve the conflict, but these occurrences are kept to a minimum, with the universe encouraging me to remain focused on my chosen work.
The power of any person, whoever it is or even the accumulated power of all mighty in this universe is negligible when compared to the power of the universe, and such power is accessible to all of us. To harness such power, we simply need to focus on the present moment and give our best while respecting the moments unfolding, which includes diversified behaviors of people around. Awareness of the true self makes all this process as simple as peeling and eating a ripe banana.
Notes:
When the sun or rain bring trouble, we tend to curse them, but they are sacred moments created by the universe. Feeling that sacredness alters the scene and evokes positive, sacred thoughts in our mind, and subsequent events carry that essence of sacredness. Opposite is also true. Giving respect to whatever unfolds before us unconditionally will revolutionize the entire landscape unfold before us filled with unconditional love.
