It is preference not choice
I am always confused about the choice lessness that spiritual leaders talk about. Some new age leaders say to make a choice and the universe will help you manifest it. Today, I got some clarity—it’s not about choice, but about preference. If my choice isn’t fulfilled, I might get frustrated or make extreme decisions. With preference, there is no issue. I am fine if what I prefer happens, and fine if it doesn’t. It’s simply my preference. For example, I prefer to be rich so that I have all the resources for whatever I intend to do. My inner energy aligns with this thought, but spiritual leaders say riches are bad. Riches might lead some to bad habits, unnecessary luxury, or strange deeds, but you can't generalize and make being poor a qualification for spiritual seekers. There are people like me who can use riches in the best possible way.
