Thirst for Power

Before reading this, I recommend going through the related article to get a better understanding.

The one. One is in all irrespective of whether we recognise it. When someone allows it to express itself, its immense power becomes evident, their unique skill gets illuminated to its fullest extent. That skill can encompass a wide range of possibilities, such as poetry, warriorship, cooking, singing, engineering, medicine, hospitality, and more.

By expressing our unique skill to its fullest extent, we quench the thirst of our heart and find complete satisfaction, devoid of any other needs. The absence of this wisdom drives us to yearn for everything, desperately grasping at things in an attempt to fill the void in our hearts, but finding no satisfaction. Power is one such thing that common people often believe will quench their thirst. In their quest for power, they resorted to any means possible, even if it meant killing or torturing billions of life forms (not limited to just humans) and causes to eliminate the potential for the divine to express itself through those forms. They are, in a certain manner, actively contributing to the destruction of the divine while simultaneously praying to that very same divine for various things. Despite acquiring such immense power, their reign on the throne is short-lived, as even while seated, they cannot escape the constant fear of their enemies.

Same is the case with money, women*, building houses, acquiring properties or any other physical object. Despite their appearance of being thirst-quenching, none of them truly fulfill that need.

It is impossible for anything outside of us to quench our thirst and also involves too much of efforts in not losing it. When our attention is centered on exploring our inner selves, we unlock the potential to comprehend our inherent divinity, establish a meaningful relationship with it, and embrace the opportunity to manifest our distinctive qualities in the physical realm. This expression of our uniqueness satisfies our thirst, leaving us feeling fulfilled and content.

*Women should never be treated as objects, yet it is disheartening that some ignorant people still view them in such a way.
